To promote independence and achieve success of the clients self-directed goals through desired outcomes within the individual service plan and remove obstacles that hinder the integration of people with disabilities. To do our part in helping to keep families together and create a society that is inclusive of everyone.
HOW OUR JOURNEY BEGAN.....
As providers with 20 + years’ experience in education and I/DD foster care who are currently providing services, we started NW Konnection services with the desire to keep youth clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities out of foster care and with their families. Additionally, to also render applicable transition services into adulthood contributing to life-long independence. By providing responsible and reliable direct support professionals it is our intention to alleviate fatigue and stress in the client’s home environment and keep families together!

Michele Cochran, BA, MAT

Hi, I have a bachelors degree in psychology and a master's degree in education with a reading and ELL endorsements. I have worked as a teacher for 5 years and have owned a foster home for 10 years. I am passionate about teaching children and helping them to achieve their greatest potential. Research and my personal experience has driven me to open this agency. When the environment is safe, people just do better at home. By providing direct care specialists to people in need, more individuals will have the ability to maintain their loved ones at home.
Tami Ingram, BA, MS
Director, Community Care Coordinator
Hello, I have a BA in sports medicine and a MS in curriculum and instruction with dual tracks in abnormal psych and addictions counseling. I have 22 years professional experience with youth, adults and seniors with varying degrees of disability in the areas of education, corrections, social services, program leadership and development. I also have 20 years experience as a provider for therapeutic and DD/ID foster care for teen youth and experience as a direct support professional. Through my education and experience as a provider and DSP, I feel strongly that keeping families together and helping people to stay in their homes (if safe) provides stability and positive outcomes.
